Time: Digital books may be used for up to two hours at a time. Books may be renewed for longer if there are available copies.
User Limit: The number of people who may use the book at the same time is determined by how many digital copies of the book are available. Unfortunately, this number is usually 1.
Waitlist: If the book is in use, you may add yourself to the waitlist to view the book when it is available. You'll receive an email notification when the book is available to view.
There are two ways to search for digital textbooks in the library.
Not sure what textbooks are being used in your class? That information is included on your class syllabus. If your class hasn't begun yet, you can check the bookstore website or email your professor.
Your instructor may provide you with a link to the book or you can search OneSearch directly. Once you find the book you need, click to view the record.
If the book is available in digital or ebook format, the "View Online" section will display. Sign in using your SIS ID and password to see if you can access the digital book. (Note: Any physical/print copies of the book will show below in the "Get It" section. Use the request sign in at the bottom to request to borrow a print book.)
After you sign in the digital availability will display.
Click the Digital book link to borrow the book or add yourself to the waitlist if the book is already in use.
Note: If the book is in use, you will have the opportunity to add yourself to the waitlist and be notified when the book is available.
