Never used Libby before? Follow these instructions for finding and adding Pierce College.
If you currently use Libby to access resources from the Los Angeles Public Library or another library, follow the instructions shown on the "Add Pierce to Existing Account" page.
1. Download the Libby app onto your device (e.g., phone/tablet/Kindle)
2. Open the Libby app. When asked "Do you have a library card?" choose "Not Yet."
3. Choose "Find Libraries Nearby."
4. Click "Search" and type in Los Angeles Pierce College. (You can also search by zip code or using the map feature.) Click on our name in the Matching Libraries list.
5. Choose "Sign in With My Card," then click "Next."
6. If you get a pop-up, click "Continue," then sign in using your SSO/SIS/Canvas username and password
7. You're connected!
The Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) also provides audiobook and eBook checkouts via Libby.
Adding the Los Angeles Public Library to your Libby account is a great way to expand the collection of ebooks and audiobooks you are able to access. From the center “hamburger” menu in Libby, choose “Add Library” to search for your public library and connect your library card.
