Reference Computers

The Reference Lab has 20 computers (17 for students and 3 with guest access). Black and white print jobs can be sent from any of these computers using the mobile printing website. 

Guest Computers (R1, R2, and R3)

Log in with your LACCD email address and password OR click "Guest" to bypass the log-in. These computers include the following:

• Microsoft Edge
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Adobe Reader
• Fusion (includes JAWS and ZoomText)

Student Computers (R4 to R20)

Log in with your LACCD email address and password.

These computers include the following:

• Microsoft Edge
• Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Adobe Creative Cloud (includes Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Requires its own login account using school email. Choose the sign in with Microsoft option to sign in through school portal.

• Firefox
• Chrome

Laptops

The library has a limited number of Microsoft Surfaces and Lenovo Chromebooks to lend to students. Checkout is for the semester. Please see our Laptop Checkout page for more information.

Headphones

The library has headphones with microphones for checkout. Students can check out the headphones at the Computer Lab Help desk. Checkout period is 1 day.

Phone Chargers

The library has chargers available for Android and iPhone at the Computer Lab Help Desk. Checkout period is for 1 day.

Computer Usage Policies

• Students working on academic assignments have computer use priority.
• The LACCD's administrative regulations on the use of district and college computing facilities specifically prohibit downloading, storing or displaying obscene or pornographic material.
• Misuse of the computing facilities may result in the loss of computing privileges. Violations of these policies will be enforced in the same manner as other district policies.
• Disciplinary review includes the full range of sanctions up to and including, but not limited to, employee dismissal, student expulsion, and/or legal action.

Privacy Statement

• We are committed to preserving the privacy of our visitors and patrons. We do not collect personal information about you just because you visit this site. 
• We will not share any information you give us with anyone unless required by a court order. We do not collect or sell your information for commercial purposes. 
• If you use a credit or debit card, we will provide the card information to a payment processing service. The service only uses that information to process your payment. We do not provide your library account information to that service.
